La base Icar raccoglie gli oggetti figurati dell’Italia preromana : etruschi, italici e magnogreci di un periodo compreso fra l’VIII sec. a.C. e il periodo ellenistico.
La base Icar rassemble les objets d'Italie préromaine (étrusque, italique et italiote du VIIIe siècle avant J.-C. jusqu'à l'époque hellénistique) servant de support à une scène figurée.
Elle réunit une abondante documentation iconographique (descriptions, photographies, dessins et gravures modernes) et bibliographique, en mettant l'accent sur le contexte archéologique et artistique, l'histoire des collections et celle des interprétations des scènes figurées.
«Archeologia e Calcolatori» Interactive Atlas of Digital Images (A&C_IADI) is an open-access portal presenting 30 years of history of Archaeological Computing through the images of the journal «Archeologia e Calcolatori».
The portal aims at valorising and sharing the approximately 4,000 images contained in the volumes of the journal and of its Supplements series until 2020. In line with the FAIR principles which have informed the journal’s policies through the years, the intent is not only to make those resources available for fruition and reuse (under the CC BY-NC ND 4.0 International license ), but also to enhance their information potential by annotating them with descriptive metadata.
