L’Istituto per la Storia del Pensiero Filosofico e scientifico moderno (ISPF) è impegnato nello studio, nella diffusione e nella promozione della cultura storico-filosofica e storico-scientifica.
Ad animare gli studi condotti dall’ISPF vi è una costante attenzione e riflessione critica sull’identità dei saperi umanistici. Le forme che tali saperi assumono negli scenari in rapida trasformazione della società contemporanea incidono sulla definizione dell’immagine dell’uomo, dell’identità culturale e del confronto interculturale, e richiedono quindi uno studio attento e metodologicamente fondato.
