Abstract
	This chapter deals mainly with the portraits of Herodes Atticus and those of his foster sons, Polydeukion, Memnon and Achilles, set up by the sophist after their deaths. These portraits were made by Attic workshops and partially reflect the imperial portraiture of their time.
