In particular, the attention is focused on the transformations occurred in the Cesano River valley, through the analysis of the reciprocal influences between human presence and physical geography. A specific attention is reserved to the watercourses and bed configu-ration changes in relation to the territorial organization, also considering the climatic fluctuations attested after the Roman period.
