The analysed sample belongs to a bronze situla dating to the second half of the 7 th century BC, currently preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Udine. These fragments are characterised by the presence of mineralised traces of textiles, which are relatively rare finds in this period but provide important information about the perishable materials, which represented one the most important and time-consuming economic activities of the past. The aim is to identify the fibres used in the production of the textiles, understand the manufacturing processes employed, and explore the nature of the archaeological context. The textile traces were analysed using standard analytical procedures to determine the main structural parameters, including weave type, thread Is Part Of https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/2002 Bibliographic Citation https://www.zotero.org/groups/5293298/bidiar/collections/24PP5WUY Cites https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13137 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13138 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13139 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13140 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13141 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13142 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13143 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13144 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13145 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13146 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13147 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13148 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13149 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13150 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13151 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13152 https://chloe.cnr.it/s/BiDiAr/item/13153 Doi https://doi.org/10.19282/ac.35.2.2024.23 Issue 2 Pages 215-224 Uri https://www.archcalc.cnr.it/journal/articles/1343 Volume 35 Homepage https://www.zotero.org/groups/5293298/bidiar/items/8ENR3FN3/item-list --
