Abstract: Assassin's Creed Origins is the latest title in the long-running Assassin's Creed series of videogames. The story of the main character is fictional, but it takes place within the places and historical events of Ptolemaic and Roman Egypt. The French software company Ubisoft undoubtedly created the game to appeal to fans of the series, most of whom are experienced gamers, but the game's creators also went to great lengths to recreate the setting as accurately as possible.
